This Week In St. Louis: Dec. 5 - Dec. 10, 2016

@ Chill Dawg Cove | 8pm | donation$ | all ages
-Frank Hurricane (NY)
-Wiggpaw (IL)
-Ghost Ice and Mister Ben
-Zak M
-Skin Tags

Noise, punk and folk oddities pack Chill Dawg Cove, which is not a cove and won't be chill but there will probably be people who identify as "dawg." Maybe a dog or two, too.

@ Bonerville | 9pm | $7-$10 | all ages
-American Hate (OK)
-Cherry Death (OK)
-Furious Party (OK)
-Warm Bodies (MO)
-Glowing One

That's four touring bands and Glowing One for $10. Sure there's technically a sliding scale, but this is the season of giving and this is a small village's worth of traveling musicians.

@ Foam | 9pm | free | all ages
-Syna So Pro (album release)
-Hands and Feet
-We Are Warm

The one-woman force behind Syna So Pro sheds all instrumentation for her latest all a cappella album. Vox harken back to Syrhea Conaway's roots as a vocalist in Rolla High School's nationally-renowned choir.

@ The Nest | 9pm | all ages
-Hellrazor (CT)
-Trauma Harness

Mike Falcone might be better known for his drumming in grunge outfit Speedy Ortiz, but he takes the role of band leader for Hellrazor, a jagged indie rock band out of Connecticut.

SAT. DEC. 10

@ The Nest | 8pm | $5 | all ages
-Fuck Lungs (tape release)
-A Leaf in the Street
-Beauty Pageant
-Hannah Rainey

Have you seen Curt's new hat? The free-jazz saxophonist pulled a billboard prank in 2015 that gained him more notoriety than most experimental musicians get in their entire lifetime. Fuck Lungs is my (Joe) project with him and this is the release show for our latest tape out now on Already Dead.

These are just some highlights. Check the sidebar for more!
