TUESDAY, APR. 2

Night Birds (New Jersey, NJ)
Tenement (WI)
Give (Washington D.C.)
9 PM / $10 / 21+
Blast some skronky surf punk from America's dirtiest city of New Jersey. Tenement's been critically acclaimed almost everywhere, so go see for yourself what these mugs are all about. Lumpy & The Dumpers tears through new material opening for these recent punx of the highest praise.

THURSDAY, APR. 4

(first show)
Deerhoof tricks one into thinking about pop music, then turns the sound on its head with rough edged jazz. Check out this interview I did with Greg Saunier in late 2011.

FRIDAY, APR. 5

Altar Of Complaints (Nashville, TN)
8 PM / $5 / all ages
Altar of Complaints comes from Nashville to shred through dark post-hardcore. Unhinged and heavy, Altar moves through quick songs with furious fervor. Both Laika and Good Luck at the Hog Slaughter are fresh faced bands with new takes on post-punk.

SUNDAY, APR. 7

AZTV
The Funs break out on tour with a heavy set of rippin' bands from South City.  Hip hip hooray!

Coma Regalia (Lafayette, IN)
Texas Instruments (Kansas City, KS)
Post-hardcore and melodic math rock fill the wide walls of Mushmaus. The strict and sloppy intertwine with punk intent. Anodes plays heavy, hard-hitting songs that feel like a thick wall of sound.

In other news, Tone Rodent's new EP just released in Brazil. Check that right here:
