The Firebird has a catchy, feel good rock n' roll kind of night going on. If you're a fan of Wavves, Jeff The Brotherhood or any of those kitschy psych-rock revivals, tonight Monday August 22nd is your night.
The headliner? Bass Drum of Death
St. Louis' own Volcanoes are opening the show, alongside Left Arm and Roundheels. Volcanoes released this wicked little ditty earlier this year:

Between August 20-27, our asexual show room will reproduce. On the night of the 27th, a new nested room will be open for entry / dis-orientation. The inner room will be wired with polyrhythmic cross pulsations of duplicated percussion sources. On its outer wall, video and film makers Chizzy Chizmo, Jeremy Kannapell, Mike Pagano, & Family Visions will create an equally disorienting screening / spectacle of silent movies, which may spill over into other areas of the house (depending on if the newborn Nested Room is benign or malignant).
